I am a fun-loving, adventure seeking, traveler, artist, motorcyclist and, like everyone else, trying to find my joy in life. You will find me sitting at my work desk by day, but you never know where my free time may take me. Whether it’s traveling to new destinations or trying my hand at a new recipe on the smoker, I am always up for a challenge or new experience.

I am, as they say, a jack of all trades and master of none. My experience has taught me that you are never too old to try something new, and I seem to find lots of new things to try. During the past year, I have added watercolor painting and sketching to my hobbies. Those may be incorporated into the blog at a later time, but I enjoy learning, and it’s something to do during those cold winter months. My partner and I have traveled to several countries and most of the United States. We love taking road trips in the car. We also love taking trips on our motorcycles when weather permits (Michigan has a fairly short riding season, if you aren’t into cold weather riding).

You will find this blog is more of a mish-mash of different things as I try to narrow down my niche. Right now, the focus will be primarily on food, travel, and DIY around the house or some different ideas for decorating. I don’t claim to be an expert, but we have remodeled a couple of houses and know a bit about “how to” when it comes to DIY. I enjoy cooking on my Traeger pellet smoker, and I will be sharing some recipes along with tips on how to use it, clean it, and otherwise useful (I hope) advice.

Whether it is sharing a few tips & tricks, travel tales, recipes, reviews, or just having fun, I look forward to sharing my adventures with you!
